2. SSGI Industry Accreditations
Project Management Institute (PMI REP)
SSGI has been awarded the title of Global Registered Education Provider (R.E.P.) by the Project Management Institute (PMI). PMI is the most recognized professional governing body in industry for project management related training. PMI is a non-profit organization that maintains high standards through an extensive accreditation process. In order to become approved, organizations must undergone a thorough review of their training, instructors, and materials to ensure they are aligned to PMI standards.
Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM Recertification Provider)
Six Sigma Global Institute has also been approved by the Society for Human Resource Management, SHRM, as a Recertification Provider. The approval covers SSGI’s training programs for Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, Green Belt, Black Belt, Master Black Belt, Healthcare Green Belt, Project Management, Scrum Master, Diversity and Inclusion Yellow Belt and Data Analytics courses. All programs have been pre-approved for PDCs (professional development credits) to apply towards SHRM recertification. Similar to PMI approval, organizations must go through daunting review and accreditation process in order to be accepted. When it comes to Lean Six Sigma accreditation there is no official governing body. In fact, we urge you to do your own research on Google when it comes to specific websites that claim to be “official” accreditation or governing bodies for Six Sigma.
One credential that you should take into consideration, is Project Management Institute’s (PMI) R.E.P. approval. This is one of the most trustworthy approvals in industry for any project management related training as providers and their curriculum must go through a strict review and accreditation process in order to get approved.
