Six Sigma Global Institute Certification is trusted by Academia, Industry and Government.
When it comes to Lean Six Sigma certification/training make sure the training you receive is on-par with industry standards. Secondly, the certification that you receive should be from a recognized institution that is trusted within industry. It’s one thing to get certified, but what matters most to employers is that you have the adequate experience, skills and knowledge to implement what you’ve learned. So make sure the training focuses on applications not just statistics.
At Six Sigma Global Institute (SSGI), training programs have been developed by Professor Barry Shore PhD. Dr. Shore has over 30 years of experience as a professor at the University of New Hampshire and has consulted with organizations around the world. He is an acclaimed expert in the field of process improvement and has the experience and credentials to back it up.

7. SSGI Competitive Pricing Explained
Why are SSGI programs so affordable? Indeed, many other organizations and academic institutions charge 5x for Six Sigma training and certification.
Well, the answer to this is quite simple.
On average, around 90% of the other providers either use third party training or hire outside consultants to create and deliver their programs. Because of this, they are paying fees and royalties for each and every sale. At SSGI, this is not the case. Our founder, Prof. Barry Shore, has put together all of our offerings in-house, so we have complete ownership over our programs. This eliminates the necessity to pay fees and/or royalties to any outside parties.
In addition, we practice what we preach, and because we’re a lean organization and keep costs low, we can offer training and certification at an affordable price.
We firmly believe that education and career advancement opportunities should be accessible to everyone and it’s our mission at SSGI to make that happen!
8. Do Your Research. There is no “official” Six Sigma governing body
Unlike PMI® for Project Management, there is no Official Governing Body for Six Sigma.
When it comes to Lean Six Sigma accreditation there is no official governing body. In fact, we urge you to do your own research on Google when it comes to specific websites that claim to be “official” accreditation or governing bodies for Six Sigma. Some of these organizations (we will not name them) and their owner(s) have gone to extreme measures to make false, defamatory, and/or deceptive statements that aim to confuse customers and harm the reputation of their competitors.
One credential that you should take into consideration, is Project Management Institute’s (PMI®) R.E.P. approval. This is one of the most trustworthy approvals in industry for any project management related training as providers and their curriculum must go through a strict review and accreditation process in order to get approved.
